Advanced Electro Therapy and Magneto Therapy

Electromagnetic stimulation is an established method of treatment for various neuro-musculo-skeletal conditions. With advancements in technology, these machines have become more effective and versatile. Repetitive Peripheral Magnetic Stimulation (rPEMS), also called deep electromagnetic stimulation, is achieved using strong magnetic fields which can pass through clothes, tissues, and bones and activate the regions of treatment deep inside the body. For the first time in Coimbatore, we have introduced the Salus Talent A, one of the world’s best high-end electromagnetic stimulation devices (3-Tesla generator). It is designed to treat almost all kinds of pain conditions and neuro-musculo-skeletal disorders in an amazingly non-contact and non-invasive way. What medical conditions can benefit from rPEMS? Acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain Spine pain, neck and low back conditions Degenerative osteoarthritis of hips and knees Rheumatoid Arthritis and fibromyalgia pain Sport injuries of ligaments and muscles Shoulder stiffness and rotator cuff injuries Post traumatic pain and Muscle relaxation Urinary stress incontinence and chronic pelvic pain Postpartum pelvic floor muscle strengthening Erectile dysfunction and sexual hypoesthesia

Lower back pain and neck pain affects 90% of the population at least once in their lifetime. This is because of the changing lifestyle and the load placed on the structures of the spine during routine activities. In this digital era, if we are not careful with our posture while using our gadgets, doing our daily chores, or driving vehicles, we are likely to accumulate loads on the structures of the spine that lead on to various problems that cause pain and restrict our activity. The common problems that cause pain in our neck and back could be: RSI (Repetitive stress injury) of the muscles or soft tissue due to overload Disc bulge or disc protrusion with stiffness of the neck or back Nerve root compression causing sciatica or brachialgia (arm pain) Cervical or lumbar spondylosis due to degenerative changes Facet or sacroiliac joint problems causing pain and stiffness Where do traditional treatments fall short? Usually, doctors may prescribe you medicines or advise rest, but this may not give you complete relief or you may get frequent recurrence. Long term use of medicines may cause side effects, or occasionally you may be advised surgery too. What we provide you with is a range of safe and effective treatment options with very advanced technology that may help you to avoid surgery and reduce the medications that can cause side effects. One of the important components of treating spine pain conditions is spine decompression and mobilization therapy. Since most of the problems in the spine are due to repeated large compressive forces, spine decompression treatment is the most logical treatment to reverse the effects of compression loads on the spine. We have introduced Theramaster, the most advanced Decompression Mobilization equipment for the first time in Coimbatore. These machines differ from the traditional traction equipment in many ways. Decompression equipment when compared with traction is like comparing the computer with a typewriter. They have finer adjustments in parameters like angle of pull, and waveforms depending upon the diagnosis and the disc levels.

Laser therapy equipment is available in a wide range of quality, cost, and parameters like wavelength and watts for different applications. We have the widest range of carefully chosen equipment like the Red light laser array (wide coverage), LILT (Low Intensity Laser Therapy), and for the first time in Coimbatore, the High power laser (HPL) for deeper penetration and better healing which is imported from the United States. Lasers can be used in different conditions like for healing effect after injury and for pain relief in various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Radial extra corporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) is an excellent means of painless and effective treatment for conditions like muscle triggers and neuromuscular muscle spasms. It is also effective in various calcific tendonopathies and plantar fasciitis. Earlier used for renal calculi by the urologists, it has now found its use in treating musculoskeletal pain.

A scientific evolution of the traditional cupping therapy from the Middle East, our US-made electronic vacuum cupping therapy incorporates the traditional wisdom of cupping therapy with the scientific electrotherapy like Interferential currents that makes it doubly effective in relief of all musculoskeletal pain conditions.

There may be situations when physical means may not work to your satisfaction, and some regenerative injections like PRP and Prolotherapy may add effectiveness to the overall outcome. Our doctor will explain in detail and help you make an informed decision wisely, whether it is physiotherapy, using injections, or a need for surgery.
